Fire Alarm & Detection

Fire Alarm Systems are designed to discover fires early in their development when there’s still time for evacuation. Early detection also plays a significant role in protecting the safety of emergency response personnel. There are two types of fire alarm systems:

A fire alarm system is a system of connected devices working together to detect and warn people when smoke or fire, is present. Alarms can be triggered by smoke detection, heat detection, or manual pull stations.  Alarms vary, from the traditional, motorized bells or wall mountable sounders to electronic notification systems, strobes, and voice alert systems.

When selecting an alarm system, consider the ongoing commitment that will be required over the life of the system. Inspection, testing, and maintenance will be crucial to the success of your alarm system.
